PURPOSE:To accurately correct density by forming correction data on the basis of the correction data of nozzles used in the recording of the pixels of a multivalue image at the time of the recording of the multivalue image. CONSTITUTION:The correction data of the image data outputted to the nozzles of a recording head 117 are calculated on the basis of the recording density characteristics of the nozzles of the recording head 117 and adapted to the respective nozzles of the recording head 117 to correct recording data. The respective pixels of the recording data thus corrected are recorded by a plurality of the nozzles corresponding to the recording density value thereof. |
