PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser module having a high production yield and reliability. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser element 1 is fixed on substrate 2, a first lens 3 arid an optical isolator 8 are provided between the element 1 and an optical fiber 12 that receives light emitted from the element 1. A lens holder 35 with the first lens 3 fixed and a housing 28 with the optical isolator 8 fixed are each fastened by laser welding on the crimping part 39, 19 respectively of a lens holder support 36 and an isolator holder 16. The laser-welded part of these crimping parts 19, 39 is each formed thinner than the substrate 2 and with a roughly equal thickness to each other, and is also formed in the lower part with a tapered face 9, 10 inclined in the direction thickening toward the lower side. |
