PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate framing (connecting and fixing) work for a planar body such as a ceiling, a floor, and a wall, to thereby shorten working hours. SOLUTION: There is provided a connecting member 20 having a base 5, a pair of upper retaining pieces 6 bent from a pair of peripheral edges of the base in one direction of a base surface, and a pair of lower retaining pieces 7 bent from the other pair of peripheral edges of the base in the other direction of the base surface, fitting projections 8 formed at arbitrary portions of the respective upper retaining pieces in an inward projecting manner, and fitting projections 9 formed at arbitrary portions of the respective lower retaining pieces in an inward projecting manner. By using the connecting member 20, skeleton materials 1 and 2 having grooves 3 and 4, respectively, formed in both side surfaces thereof are connected together, to thereby obtain a skeleton structure. The base of the connecting member is interposed between contact surfaces of the respective skeleton materials, and the upper skeleton material is retained between the upper retaining pieces with the fitting projections 8 being fitted into the grooves 3 of the upper skeleton material. Further, the lower skeleton material is retained between the lower retaining pieces with the fitting projections 9 being fitted into the grooves 4 of the lower skeleton material. Thus, the skeleton materials are orthogonally connected together in a manner being slidable in respective longitudinal directions. |
