<p>PURPOSE:To make retrieval on a recording tape medium in a very short time without giving excess burden on it the operator. CONSTITUTION:A moving picture is recorded or reproduced to a moving picture area of a tape T, a still picture is recorded or reproduced to/from a still picture area in parallel with the moving picture area and when a title picture is formed, an index mark generated from an index signal generating circuit 35 is recorded. In this case, a reproduced moving picture or a still picture signal from a switch SW10 is written in a memory 17 via a SW 15, read at a low speed and processed by a digital signal processing circuit 19 and recorded to a head of the still picture area of the tape T by rotating magnetic heads H1, H2. Furthermore, the transport of the tape T is controlled by using a mechanism control circuit 39 to control a capstan C when the title picture is generated.</p> |
