PURPOSE: To decide an equivalent delay in the system with a small interruption time by using an automatic zero circuit to separate an information signal from an output of a differential amplifier receiving the information signal and an optical response signal, using a correlation circuit to recognize the response signal, and using a processing unit to measure an equalization delay. CONSTITUTION: A main station C sends a 1st distance signal to a sub station S3 and allows a transmitter TC, to send a control signal simultaneously to a processing unit PU of a receiver RC, in which a counter is started. The station S3 returns an optical response signal to the main station C. On the other hand, an information signal from sub stations S1, S2 whose equalization delay has been already decided is given to a pin FET circuit PFET of the receiver RC of the station C with the optical response signal and an automatic zero circuit separates the response signal from the information signal via an AMP, its output is given to a correlation device COR, in which the response signal is confirmed and a processing unit PU roughly decides the equalization delay. Then a 2nd distance signal is sent to decide precisely the equalization delay during the period of time while the stations S1, S2 sends no information. |
