<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for allocating channel time for each application in one super-frame. <P>SOLUTION: The device for allocating the channel time to the application on the wireless PAN is provided with a beacon generation module for generating the super-frame in a beacon period, a duration adjustment module for adjusting the super-frame duration so as to be a multiple of the frame duration of a high-order application layer of a device, a channel time division module for dividing a CTA, if required, by comparing the size of the maximum CTA allowed in the frame of the high-order application layer of the device with the size of an isochronous CTA to the other device, and a channel time re-arrangement module for re-arranging the CTA by comparing a super-rate of the CTA already arranged in the super-frame with the super-rate of the CTA to be newly added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
