PURPOSE:To efficiently carry passengers waiting in a line for an elevator during the morning rush hours in a building or the like by forming a chart that indicates both the number of persons in an elevator at each floor for stop and the number of times of reciprocation of the elevator, and thereby determining the destination floor for each elevator coming down, and indicating the floor in each elevator. CONSTITUTION:A destination floor information input device 21 is placed at the entrance of each elevator hall where elevators are installed and those who want to take an elevator must press buttons for desired floors once. When an elevator arrives at an elevator hall the floor at which the elevator will stop is determined according to the total number of passengers in the elevator for each block and the number of times that the elevator carries passengers. When the count of a chart for alloting floors for stop is '1' at each block 2-3 and the total count is '3', for example, the block with the largest number of passengers in the chart is block 3 and is alloted to an elevator being stopped. Then the elevator is indicated by a destination floor indicator 30 and the number of passengers that the elevator can accommodate is limited. |
