The invention relates to a support for a gutter bracket and eaves covering of a building, and more particularly the design of the means allowing positioning then locking in place of a gutter hook (5) on its support (1). It uses a combination of complementary male and female elements made on the front part of the support (1) and on the rear face of the hook (5). The locking, which is provided by the original design of the snap-fastening pieces and the elasticity of the constituent material, makes it possible to avoid any accidental detachment of the hook (5) due to stresses exerted on the gutter profile (6) by strong winds, or the weight of water, ice or snow. <IMAGE>
