DISK KNIFE FOR CUTTING SHAPE STRIPS

The knife is used in metal processing, in particular, in production of rotor and stator sheets for magnetic conductors. It has a simplified design, which ensures a high quality cutting. The disc knife consists of two parallel shafts (1) with slots carrying left (6) and right (7) cutting discs. Their slots correspond to those of the shafts (1). The edges of the discs (6 and 7) form a pattern contour (8), so that the cutting edge of the two left discs (6) is an exact replica of the cutting edge of the two right discs (7). An erect slot disc (9) for feeding the band (10) is located on each shaft (1).
