PURPOSE:To provide dielectric porcelain compositions and a large-sized dielectric resonator of high Q-value, all suited for applications to a large output type channel filter and the like used within a frequency range from 400MHz to 3GHz. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric resonator is composed of a dielectric porcelain composition in which in a composition expressed by a general expression of Bax (Mg1-yNiy)1-zTazOv (v=x+3z/2+1), x, y and z are preset respectively to such ranges as 0.99<=x<1.0, 0<y<=0.2 and 0.65<z<0.7, and another dielectric porcelain composition in which in a composition expressed by a general expression of Bax(Mg1-ytAy)1-zTazOv (A stands for Ni or Co, v=x+3z/2+l), (x), (y) and(z) are preset respectively to such ranges as 0.99<=x<1.0, 0<y<=0.2 and 0.65<z<0.7, and it is characterized in its use within a frequency range from 400MHz to 3GHz. |
