CONSTITUTION:In a method for producing an optically active diol by treating the enantiomer mixture of a diol with a microorganism having an ability to asymmetrically assimilate the diol and subsequently collecting the remained optically active diol, an optical purity lowering-preventing agent is added to the treatment solution after the finishing the reaction to prevent the optical purity of the remained optically active diol from lowering. |
