PURPOSE:To prevent the shortening of life of a capacitor and gas without showing chemical reaction between the circumferential part of a discharge capacity and laser medium gas by ultraviolet rays caused by laser oscillation using a discharge capacitor having the part, which directly comes in contact with the laser medium gas, provided with resisting property against ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of discharge capacitors 6, 6... are arranged in a laser tube 1 along the longitudinal direction of a laser tube 1. The discharge capacitors 6 consist of a dielectric 61, electrode lead-out terminals 62 and 63, a ceramic cover 64 and the like. The ceramic cover 64 is formed by the material having excellent ultraviolet-ray resisting property, heat resisting property, airtightness and also having excellent corrosion resisting property against F2 gas and Cl gas. The part which directly comes in contact with the laser medium gas of the discharge capacitors 6 should be limited to a ceramic cover 64, an Ni-plated electrode lead-out terminal 62 and Ni-plated metal sealing members 66 and 67. |
