<p>Liquid detergent compositions which contain common builders and alkali, or alkali-free concentrated compositions for use in preparing the liquid detergent compositions contain a surfactant (e.g. 1 to 12 percent by weight) of the formula <IMAGE> in which R is a C8-18 alkyl or C8-18 alkenyl radical, or a salt thereof, in aqueous solution. The alkali-free concentrated compositions may be transformed into liquid detergent compositions by adding alkali. The liquid detergent compositions have stable viscosity with respect to any change in temperature.</p> |
