PURPOSE:To rapidly radiate heat in light emitting operation, prevent the crystallization of a light emitting layer and a carrier transporting layer and the peeling of an electrode, and extend the life by using a transparent base having a high heat conductivity. CONSTITUTION:An ITO electrode is formed on a glass base containing a component having a high heat conductivity forming factor such as MgO, SiO2 or the like, and a hole transporting layer is formed thereon. A carrier transporting layer and a light emitting layer are successively formed thereon. Finally, an AgMg electrode is deposited on the light emitting layer to complete an element. Thus, even if a heat is generated in the light emitting operation, it is rapidly radiated to extend the life. A transparent ceramic base and a diamond base may be used. |
