PURPOSE:To three-dimensionally display a video by providing a three- dimensional scan converter which transforms polar coordinate data in three directions into three-dimensional orthogonal coordinates and a screen transformation circuit which transforms the polar coordinated data into a two-dimensional coordinate system. CONSTITUTION:From a three-dimensional limiter pulse which extracts data in a displaying range, an elevation, azimuth, and range signals and video data inputted to a preparation circuit 11 from the outside are approximately calculated. Extracted data are successively inputted to a three-dimensional scan converter 13 by means of a FIFO buffer 12. The data entering this polar coordinate are transformed into a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system. A screen transformation circuit 14 transforms the data into a two-dimensional screen coordinate system and the data are stored in a memory 6 after the data are separated into X and Y display data and displaying and writing addresses by means of a raster address generator 4. These data and addresses are analogized to video signals for TV and the pseudoexecution of three- dimensional video display for TV is performed on a two-dimensional display. |
