<p>PURPOSE:To automatically edit the positions of start ID signals recorded in a tape by detecting prescribed reference levels from signals (musics) recorded in the tape and recording again control signals indicating the program serching positions of the musics in the positions of the tape. CONSTITUTION:The tape is fast-forwarded and reproduced then the start ID signal recorded on the tape is detected. Next, the tape is rewound at low speed and reproduced. Next, a level history register 16 starts to store the level of the music outputted from a level discrimination circuit 17. Then, the starting point of the start ID signal which passes through when the tape is fast- forwarded and reproduced is detected. When an edge is detected, the register 16 finish storing the signal level. The signal levels stored in the register 16 are retrieved and the frames of under the reference level are detected. After detecting a frame of over the reference level, the tape is reproduced in forward direction again and the start ID signal is recorded again at the position of the tape corresponding to the frame stored in a register 15a.</p> |
