PURPOSE:To obtain natural discharge light of which section is like a circular band, without inducing power loss. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a microwave oscillator 11, a plurality of waveguide tubes 14a through 14c to introduce the microwave outputted from the oscillator 11, adjusting bodies 16a through 16c mounted on the respective tubes to regulate the resonator lengths of microwaves that are introduced into the tubes, and an insertion section 17 that is continuously formed to be a circular band section along the direction crossing the advancing direction of microwaves in the tubes 14a-14c. Furthermore, the section 17 is also provided with a light emitting body 18 that is formed inside to be a circular band corresponded with the section 17 and hollow, and is filled with gas medium that generates natural discharge light with a section of circular band from its end face through the excitation of microwaves from the oscillator 11. |
