<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a standing balance having good catch of fish, capable of landing a hooked fish without losing the fish, having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:When a safety pin 5 is fastened to a fitting ring 3a, a leader 7a of a snell 7 is placed on the side of a leader holding part 3c, laid between the leader holding part 3c and a leader sandwiching part 3b and wound once and the leader 7a is sandwiched, the leader 7a obtained by twisting two yarns, having relatively high rigidity, is extended along an arm 3. When a bait 9 is placed on a fishing hook 8 and a balance snell is thrown into the sea, the snell is sunk in the sea by weight of a sink 2, the arm 3 is retained approximately horizontally or with the tip slantingly up and fishing line connected to the tip of the leader 7a is dropped. Thereby, the bait 9 attached to the fishing hook 8 at the tip of the snell 7 is floated vertically and horizontally to make fishes readily catch the bait. When a fish takes the bait, the strike is transmitted to a fisherman and he can land the fish instantly.</p> |
