PURPOSE:To deal with an original in a large size at low cost while maintaining operability equal to a method due to a digitizer by mechanically detecting a distance from two points to an objective point with a wire. CONSTITUTION:An original 2 is loaded on a platen 1 while turning the surface upward and in that case, the lower left side of the original is matched to an original abutting reference 3. Next, a pointing device 4 is taken, a point position reference 5 is matched to an objective point 6 to be pointed, and a point switch 7 is pushed. At such a time, the amount of feeding-out a wire 8 is defined as (x), the amount of feeding-out a wire 9 is defined as (y) and the (x) and (y) are detected by sensors 10 and 11. Further, the detected results of the sensors 10 and 11 are inputted to an erithmetic means in the main body of a copy machine, and the coordinate of the objective point (point 6) is operated. Thus, even the original in the large size can be dealt with at low cost while maintaining the operability equal to the method due to the digitizer. |
