PURPOSE:To obtain the subject nonwoven fabric useful for release paper, tacky tape, etc., having excellent water resistance, dimensional stability and workability free from reduction in strength in wetting by subjecting the surface of specific yarn to mold release processing. CONSTITUTION:At least one side of nonwoven fabric comprising yarn prepared by continuously spinning a polyolefin such as PE, having a three-dimensional network structure, thermally bonded between yarns, is subjected to mold release processing with a releasing agent [built-up is preferably 0.3-0.6g/m<2> (based on nonwoven fabric)]] such as silicone-based resin to give the objective nonwoven fabric. Weight of the nonwoven fabric is preferably 60g/m<2>. |
