PRODUCTION OF RESIN-IMPREGNATED PAPER HAVING MANY MULTICOLOR PATTERNS OF ARBITRARY DESIGN

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide patterns of arbitrary design even on the back surface of the title paper by successively applying a penetration-regulating liquid and a colored resinous liquid on a non-sized water-resistant base paper followed by impregnating the resultant paper with a resinous liquid and then drying. CONSTITUTION:A penetration-regulating liquid is applied on a non-sized water- resistant base paper 11 using a relevant applicator 12 followed by application of a colored resinous liquid on the resulting paper using a relevant applicator 13. The resultant paper is then dried as necessary, and impregnated with a resinous liquid in a relevant vat 15 followed by drying, thus obtaining the objective resin-impregnated paper with many multicolor patterns of arbitrary design.
