A separator has a cylindrical sieve on a platform, and a central rotor. The platform is supported by a circular wall sloping inwards, and holds an elipitcal, conical wall sloping upwards and inwards from the outer casing to a top plate forming cavities for the fluid material. There is an uninterrupted continuous passage from the outer wall of the sieve, downwards on each side through the base of the housing to flanged outlets. ADVANTAGE - The design of the centrifuge is to reduce pulsation without incurring a heavy driveshaft.
