<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive exchangeable humidity sensing element of longer life with excellent humidity characteristics and secular characteristics by solidifying zeolite fine powder. CONSTITUTION:Zeolite fine powder is solidified to make a humidity sensing element. The humidity sensing element provides a swift change in the amount of water in the hollow of the zeolite according to the variation in the relative temperature. On the other hand, the electric resistance of the zeolite is almost reversely proportional to the amount of water absorbed in the hollow allowing quick detection of the relative humidity in terms of an electric resistance value. An excellent humidity sensing element is obtained because of a highly sensitive change to a wide range of humidity, and having a very small variation in the resistance value due to a temperature.</p> |
