Prosthesis of foam polyurethane and collagen and uses thereof

The prosthesis can be shaped into an elongated hollow body tube useful for implantation in an animal. Alternatively, the prosthesis can be shaped into biocompatible units useful as soft-tissue replacements or as matrices for sustained-release vehicles.
