1. A method of making self-extinguishing runner disks for belt conveyors with the use of the thermoplastic materials processing methods, characterised in that a ring or more rings, cut out earlier from the PVC conveyor belt with the external diameter (de) smaller by at least 2 mm than the external diameter (D) of the disk, and with the internal diameter (di) equal to the disk internal diameter, is/are put into a single- or a multi-cavity mould and, using one of the processing methods such as extrusion moulding, press moulding and injection moulding, PVC, earlier softened with a phosphate flexibilizer and stabilized with the use of metals compounds, is poured into the mould and formed into a disk containing a core (1), which constitutes one or more these rings, and it is gelated at the temperature of 155 degrees C.<IMAGE>
