PURPOSE:To enable configuration of optical components to be simplified. CONSTITUTION:A screw 9 is mounted to a laser diode and it is joined to a holder 7 by an adhesive 8. A solid laser medium holder 10 is mounted to the screw 9, a solid laser medium 11 is placed at a central part of the solid laser medium holder 10, and then a surrounding of a diode array 1 is shielded from an external air, an inactive gas 18 is filled and is closed by sealing with a low melt-point glass 12, thus preventing deterioration of the diode array 1 due to oxidation such as degassing. Also, proximity of the diode array 1 and configuration of a resonator on both end faces of the solid laser medium eliminate a need for optical components such as a mirror. |
