PARAMETER ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable data confirmation and correction and to facilitate debug/ parameter adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A RAM display 7 is connected to an address/data bus line 4 of a CPU 3 in an image processing system (IPS) 2 and a personal computer (PC) 9 is selectively connected to a bus line 4 and a communication line 5 via an interface (PC-IF) 8 by a common connector. The CPU 3 executes the RAM display routine to read/write parameter data and checks an address for read/ write and its data to the RAM display or the PC-IF for each prescribed period, and issues a display command to revise the setting parameter according to an instruction or to confirm it to the RAM display or the PC. The PC transmits a command to the communication line and verifies the system sequence depending on the status of the received command.
