Four carbon brushes are located in guide slots on one side of a carrier plate (1) that is produced of insulating material. The brushes are subjected to a radial spring force to ensure contact with the motor commutator. The connection to the brushes and the interconnections between opposite pairs are made on the other side of the disc. The disc has main connector bushes (9) leading via tracks (11) to the main terminals (12) for external connection. Other connector bushes are provided for additional components (14). ADVANTAGE-All electrical connections for pair of brushes brought out to single termination, reducing number of welding or soldering points required.
