<p>Methods for expressing polypeptides in E. coli are provided, and expression vectors and recombinant DNA molecules for use in said methods. Expression is regulated in these methods by the use of the E. coli mdh gene promoter. The invention further provides a process for producing polypeptides derived from genes native to bacteria of the genus Thermus in E. coli.</p> |
