<p>A flame retardant polyol composition is prepared by reacting chloral with a compound selected from the group consisting of urea, diethanolurea, dipropanolurea, thiourea, sulfamide and mixtures thereof in the presence of a polyhydroxy composition having 2 to 8 hydroxy groups. These compositions are useful for preparing flame retardant polyurethane foams.</p> |
