The grinding and cutting disk is made of bonded abrasives with a textile reinforcement. The textile reinforcement is a piece of embroidery, particularly a glass fiber embroidery. The embroidery is stitched on an embroidery base made of crepe paper or polyvinyl alcohol-fleece. The bonded abrasive is made of abrasive grain granules, liquid resin and fillers or aggregates. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a grinding and cutting disk.
