<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper sheet feeder which can prevent the occurrence of misfeed and multifeed so as to stably feed a paper sheet by always keeping a constant the positional relationship between a paper sheet leading end regulating member and the forward end of a plate. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet placing plate 22 is provided in such a manner as to freely turn on a shaft portion 23 in the interior of a paper sheet feed tray 21. A paper sheet leading end regulating member 25 is disposed in front of the plate 22 in the paper sheet feeding direction. The paper sheet leading end regulating member 25 is curved like a circular arc along the rotating locus of the forward end of the plate 22. The upper end portion of the paper sheet leading end regulating member 25 serves as a separating click 27. A curved surface similar to that of the paper sheet leading end regulating member 25 is formed also on a paper sheet trailing end regulating member 28. By this arrangement, the forward end of the plate 22 is moved along the curved surface of the paper sheet leading end regulating member 25, so that even if the paper sheets 20 on the plate 22 are decreased, the paper sheet 20 is prevented from being clamped between the plate 22 and the separating click 27.</p> |
