<p>PURPOSE:To provide to subject method of a slurry pump to stably control the revolution speed. CONSTITUTION:A solid material settled in the slurry pumps 1, 7 during the pump stop due to the storage filled with liquid or stuck to the pump impellers is stirred and is discharged to out of the pumps by operating the slurry pumps 1, 7 once at full speed after the completion of start-up of the slurry pump 1, 7. Then, even when the revolution speed of the slurry pump 1, 7 are controlled, torque deficit or unbalance is subsequently not caused. And, when minimum pump head required to prevent the reversion of the slurry pumps 1, 7 is maintained by providing an interlock so that head of the slurry pumps 1, 7 does not become the revolution speed equal or below required hydrostatic head after once pumping-up, even when the signal of controlling revolution speed is given so that the head of the slurry pumps 1, 7 becomes revolution speed equal or below required hydrostatic head, a least pumping-up necessary for preventing reverse revolution of the slurry pumps 1, 7 can be maintained, thus the slurry pumps 1, 7 are never reversed.</p> |
