The present invention relates to a toilet seat with a pivoting longitudinal housing in the region of the rear of the toilet bowl with a suitable bracket, inside which are fitted side by side a dispensing roller, a drive device and a take-up roller for a tubular protective film and which can be closed off from above by a cover. A U-shaped toilet seat is secured on one side of the take-up roller to the longitudinal housing member. In addition, there is a cutting blade in the securing region of the U-shaped toilet seat which cuts the tubular protective film pulled along the U-shaped toilet seat. In order to make cleaning the toilet seat in the region of the housing containing the various components easier and to facilitate necessary maintenance and repair work on the electrical components, the present invention provides that the drive unit (23) acting on the take-up roller (14) is fitted inside the cover (1), whereby the drive unit acting on the take-up roller is of the modular type, consisting of a power supply module (103) and an electric motor module (102) which can be interconnected via a plug and socket connector and are arranged in a closed casing. |
