<p>PURPOSE:To provide a computer input device which can minimize the movement of the hands and line of sight of an inputting person and further, perform the coordinates position detection at the time of the input of the code, etc., to a computer. CONSTITUTION:A conventional input device (key pad board) is divided into for a right hand 1 and for a left hand 2, and by the combination of key pads 23-30 and 33-40 provided at respective, the alphameric characters and other codes are inputted. At least at one side of input devices 1 and 2, a coordinates detecting function (a ball 16 for detecting coordinates) is held. Further, at both input devices 1 and 2, balls 16 and 17 for detecting coordinates are provided, respective key pads express two pieces of coordinates position information, the mutually related information is prepared from the information and thus, many pieces of the information are inputted to a computer at high speed. Thus, compared with the conventional key pad, miniaturization, the reduction of the number of key pads, and the reduction of the moving quantity of the hand and finger, or the sight line can be realized.</p> |
