PURPOSE:To control the transfer current of a transfer means corresponding to an environmental change. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device provided with a photosensitive drum 1K, a developing unit 4K which forms an image on the photosensitive drum 1K by the use of a developer and a transfer electrifier 6K which transfers the image to a transfer belt is further provided with, a photodetector 19a which detects the concentration of developer on the photosensitive drum 1K, photodetectors 12a and 12b which detect the concentration of developer on the transfer belt 6a and a controller 15 which controls the transfer current of the transfer electrifier 6K based on the detection results of the photodetectors 19a, 12a and 12b. |
