PURPOSE:To convert data on an integer format into data on the complement floating point format of '2' at high speed by providing a data format conversion part composed of hardware. CONSTITUTION:When data is read from a data memory 2 into a data register 19, data passes through the data format conversion part 20 and data on the integer format is converted into data on the complement floating point format of '2'. Namely, the data format conversion part 20 is composed of an integer floating point data conversion part 22 converting data on the integer format into data on the complement floating point format of '2', a floating point integer data conversion part 23 converting data on the complement floating point format of '2' into data on the integer format and a constant register for integer value digit number designation 25, which designates the bit length of data on the integer format. |
