An apparatus, for applying a flushing liquid to bodily cavities, especially the nostrils and ears, consists of a container (1), for the flushing liquid, with a filler inlet at its upper end. The inlet is covered with a cap (5) which houses a spring-loaded air vent valve (7). This valve can be opened manually by pressing on the valve stem (9) and the valve closes automatically when the pressure is removed. The lower end of the container has an outlet for the flushing liquid and a valve (14) to control the outflow of the liquid. USE/ADVANTAGE - Flushing of the ears and nostrils by a device with means to control the flow of the flushing liquid.
