PURPOSE:To provide an antibacterial peptide, antibacterial agent and antibacterial peptide formulation free from side effect and exhibiting antibacterial effect on a variety of microorganism at a small amount and to provide a process for treating an object with the antibacterial agent. CONSTITUTION:An antibacterial peptide containing a specific sequence consisting of at least 20 amino acid residues. An antibacterial agent containing J>=5ppm (wt.) of the antibacterial peptide as an active component. An antibacterial formulation containing the antibacterial peptide. A process for treating an object with an antibacterial agent containing the antibacterial peptide.
