PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing at high productivity the thermoplastic polymer sheet in which scratch is omitted and then the deviation of width-dimension and the non uniformity of thickness in longitudinal direction etc., are improved. CONSTITUTION:A molten thermoplastic polymer sheet is continuously extruded on the surface of a rotating casting drum, and then the molten sheet is brought in close contact with the surface of the casting drum by applying static electrical charge on the molten sheet and is quickly cooled and solidified. Casting method is carried out by said process. A thin liquid film is formed on the surface of the casting drum before the contact of the molten sheet with the casting drum, and the tension of the sheet when the cooled and solidified sheet is separated from the cooling drum, is kept at 0.5-5kg/m. |
