Whirlpool comprising a bath and a circulation system for sucking water out of the bath and injecting the water which has been sucked in back into the bath under pressure, which system comprises a passage which, via at least one suction opening and at least one injector, is in communication with the bath. A pump is accommodated in the passage. The circulation system is provided with means for actively controlling the flow through the passage. The invention makes it possible to vary the massaging action of the water, so that it is possible to combat excess massaging. <IMAGE>
