The method employs a microprocessor to control the output of the magnetron to the heating of water at a proper state. The method comprises a step of heating with the high output of the magnetron for the minimum time under the condition of the maximum input voltage while water is at the minimum amount and a step of heating with the low output for the maximum time under the condition of the minimum input voltage while water is at the maximum amount. The microcomputer determines the maximum or minimum heating the according to the amount of water and the amount of coffee powder.
