METHOD FOR INSERTING AN ASYNCHRONOUS 139,264 KBIT/S SIGNAL INTO A 155,520 KBIT/S SIGNAL |
摘要 |
20365-2930 Disclosed is a method for inserting an asynchronous 139,264 kbit/s signal into a 155,520 kbit/s signal. The object on which the invention is based is to interleave an asynchronous 139,264 kbit/s signal from the European digital signal hierarchy in a particularly skilful manner into the frame structure of a 155,520 kbit/s signal STM-1 of a network node interface NNI. It is possible to insert into the frame structure bits which are placed together in a subframe in the form of a virtual container VC-4. This subframe consists of 9 sections each having 261 subsections of 1 byte or 8 bits each. The first subsection is reserved for a path overhead (POH). According to the invention, the remaining 260 subsections are divided into 20 blocks with a first part (W, X, Y, Z) for 1 byte of additional signals in particular and a second part for 12 bytes of information bits (I). This method can be employed with a network node interface (NNI) in asynchronous optical network (SONET). |
