PURPOSE:To designate the automatic numbering type of a 'sequential number' or an 'order' for the softing result of a card, which is generated by means of a data base, and to execute accurate numbering in the same order even if there are plural numerical values for data on the sorted item. CONSTITUTION:A card data storage memory 9, a sorting control part 10 and a numbering control part 11 are connected to a data base control part 3. Card data generated by the data base control part 3 is stored in the storage memory 9. The sorting control part 10 sorts the retrieval result of card data stored in the storage memory 9, and a numbering type selection screen selecting the numbering type of the sequential number or the order as against the sorting result of the sorting control part 10 is displayed. When the sequential number is selected in the numbering type selection screen, the sequential number is given to the sorting result, and the order number where same data in the sorting result are set to be the same order is given when the order is selected. |
