TERMINAL CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC PARTS

PURPOSE:To provide a terminal connecting structure for electronic parts in which firm and easy connection between the terminal patterns of electronic parts such as a liquid crystal display and a flexible board is practicable. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display 10 which has a plurality of terminal patterns 15 led out to the end of a board 13 and a flexible board 20 which has a plurality of conductor patterns 21 at the same pitches as those of the terminal patterns 15 are provided. Respective conductor patterns 21 of the flexible board 20 are brought in close contact with the respective terminal patterns 15 and connected thereto. An elastic metal plate is bent into an approximate U-shape and the end side on one face side is cut off into a comb shape to prepare a press-contact spring 30 which has a number of elastic protrusions 31 at the same pitches as those of respective terminal patterns 15. The connection between electronic parts 10 and the flexible board 20 is by the press-contact spring 30, to allow the elastic protrusions 31 of the press-contact spring 30 to thrust the respective conductor patterns 21 of the flexible board 20 and the conductor patterns 21 to be put in press-contact with the respective terminal patterns 15.
