PURPOSE:To improve an address printing function by always arranging an address consisting of plural lines in a well balance so as to print it in a document preparing device provided with the printing function of a postcard address. CONSTITUTION:A control part 13 obtained the size of an area to which the address of a receiver is inputted from area information stored in the area 15a of RAM 15, and obtains the number of the designated lines of the address of the receiver from format information stores in an area 15b and the number of the input lines of the address of the receiver from character string information stored in an area 15c. Thus, the number of the inputted lines is compared with the number of the designated lines. When the number of the inputted lines is less than the number of the designated lines, the number of the designated lines is converted into the number of the lines corresponding to the number of the inputted lines, equal allocation information for the character string is generated based on the number of the converted lines and the respective line of the character string is equally allocated so as to print them. |
