The hollow profile (10) has two perpendicular side faces (11, 12), each provided with a number of identical fixing apertures (20, 21) at the same distance from the profile inner edge (25). Each side face (11, 12) has a flange (13, 14) provided by a perpendicular lip along its outer edge, with an angled coupling section (15) extending between the two flanges (13, 14), for closing the profile (10). The coupling section (15) is integral with one perpendicular lip and is bent backwards at its free end, for securing it to the rear face of the opposite lip.
