The size precision of a surface mountable electronic part (1) including substrate (2) and case (3), is improved and a production thereof is simplified in that the circuit substrate 2 is housed in the shield case 3 of which an end side is open. The shield case 3 is a. resin case having a shield film 7 and a connection pattern 6 is formed on the inner surface 3a of the case 3. An end 6a of the connection pattern 6 is disposed so as to correspond to an external connection land 4 of the circuit substrate 2, and the other end 6b is extended to the open end 3b of the case.
