<p>PURPOSE:To retrieve control information at a high speed by extracting the information of a subarea from information taken from the magnetic tape at the time of sending at a high speed and providing each means for stopping the high speed sending when an identification code is detected from this extracted data. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape is sent at a high speed by a DAT operation control section 14 and information on the magnetic tape at the time of a high speed sending is taken. The identification code is detected by an identification code detecting section 142 further from the information of a subarea extracted by a subarea information extraction section 141 from this information. This identification code is used for identifying the recorded main area of the control information and when this is detected, the high speed sending of the magnetic tape is stopped by the control section 14. Thus, the recorded position of the control information recorded on an optional position on the magnetic tape is retrieved at a high speed without providing a controlling means and a program searching is operated.</p> |
