<p>PURPOSE:To display images representing the position, type, etc., of an object prepared on the basis of radar signals and characters representing the target recognition rate, presumed number, etc., on a TV screen of a display device operating with radar signals. CONSTITUTION:A display device displaying TV images of map information, etc., is equipped with a plurality of signal processing circuits 1, and the target ID information is receives consisting of the type of target, presumed number of targets, distance of target, azimuth of target, and supplementary information such as the recognition rate, etc., concerning the target which are acquired by subjecting the radar reception signals to processing target by target, and a mark consisting of image showing the type of the target and having the direction in coordination with the target moving direction and a character showning the recognition rate of this target, the presumed number, etc., are selected out of a mark/character library 2 and issued. The information of the mark and character is superposed on TV signals such as map information by a video overlay circuit 3, and the resultant is displayed on a TV screen.</p> |
